Eid is knocking on doors.. Is there a heart that can mend a broken heart? 🇵🇸 The situation in Gaza is difficult, but with you and your solidarity, we can make a difference. Our goal in these blessed days is to turn tears into smiles.📌🇵🇸 In Gaza, where the simplest elements of life have turned into wishes, and where “joy” has become a luxury that many do not have, my family consists of eight individuals. Would you like to stand by their side these days? Why is your donation today not just a “charity”? • Reviving the spirit of solidarity: In these virtuous days, our standing together is what strengthens us and gives us the strength to continue. • Satisfying a child’s hunger: Today’s donation translates into food, clothing, and a smile on the face of a child who only knew his name during Eid. • Strengthening steadfastness: Every helping hand is a message to our people in Gaza that they are not alone, and that the world is still vibrant with goodness. How can you be a reason to bring a smile? Whether your donation is material, in-kind, or even by spreading the good word and mobilizing support, the reality in Gaza exceeds all description, and need is not a luxury, but rather a right to survive. Your donation today means a family’s steadfastness and stability in their land. Every family we reach thanks to your support is a message to the world that Gaza is not alone, and that there are hearts beating with love everywhere.” • “ Don’t let Eid pass by without leaving a trace. Your donation is the last wall that protects the dignity of families whose livelihoods have been limited. Do not let the children of Gaza face Eid without hope. A kind touch from you means a lot to them. • “ The goal before us is clear, and the need is greater than it can be described. Be part of the solution, and contribute today to light a candle in the darkness of the siege.” A few of you make a big difference here. Do not deprive them of the joy of Eid. 🇵🇸🗣️ Contribute to bringing joy to our people in Gaza on the blessed Eid Al-Adha. • “ Be the reason that Eid does not pass for a child in Gaza without joy.”🙏 Be a partner in making your impact in Gaza Link in bio donate👆

Eid is knocking on doors.. Is there a heart that can mend a broken heart? 🇵🇸

The situation in Gaza is difficult, but with you and your solidarity, we can make a difference. Our goal in these blessed days is to turn tears into smiles. 📌🇵🇸

In Gaza, where the simplest elements of life have turned into wishes, and where joy has become a luxury that many do not have, my family consists of eight individuals who need you to stand by their side these days. My neighbors too.

Why is your donation today not just a "charity"?

Reviving the spirit of solidarity: In these virtuous days, our standing together is what strengthens us and gives us the strength to continue.

Satisfying a child's hunger: Today's donation translates into food, clothing, and a smile on the face of a child who only knew his name during Eid.

Strengthening steadfastness: Every helping hand is a message to our people in Gaza that they are not alone, and that the world is still vibrant with goodness.

How can you be a reason to bring a smile? Whether your donation is material, in-kind, or even by spreading the good word and mobilizing support, the reality in Gaza exceeds all description, and need is not a luxury, but rather a right to survive. Your donation today means a family's steadfastness and stability in their land.

Every family we reach thanks to your support is a message to the world that Gaza is not alone, and that there are hearts beating with love everywhere.

Don't let Eid pass by without leaving a trace. Your donation is the last wall that protects the dignity of families whose livelihoods have been limited.

Do not let the children of Gaza face Eid without hope. A kind touch from you means a lot to them.

The goal before us is clear, and the need is greater than it can be described. Be part of the solution, and contribute today to light a candle in the darkness of the siege.

A few of you make a big difference here.

Do not deprive our children, our families, of the joy of Eid.

Contribute to bringing joy to our people in Gaza on the blessed Eid Al-Adha.

Be the reason that Eid does not pass for a child in Gaza without joy.

Be a partner in making your impact in Gaza 🇵🇸

Thank you so much.

We live in a painful and difficult reality, a recipe in one post🥹
In the ruins of what was once a residential neighborhood, these children are not looking for toys. They are looking among the rubble and waste for a crumb of bread, for one bite to survive for another day.

Hunger in Gaza is no longer just a threat, but has become a cruel reality that forces innocent people to search the garbage to survive. No child should look for his food in the rubble.

Your donation today could be a meal that saves a child's life. We can't turn our faces, they need us now more than ever.

Donate now and support the children of Gaza 💔And also the families of the displaced who are in dire need of the simplest necessities of life

Until this moment, the killing and bombing have not stopped. During three days, more than 30 martyrs and more than 100 injuries occurred in all regions of the country.

Keep us in your hearts and minds, friends🇵🇸📌🙏

Nakba Day, Then and Now

Jamal wrote this on Nakba (which translates to "catastrophe") Day on Friday and would like to share with you all:

"On this day, May 15, 1948, our ancestors were forced to leave their homes and villages under the weight of massacres and intimidation, thinking that they were a few days and returning. Today, 78 years later, our people in Gaza are living the bloodiest and most ugly seasons of this ongoing Nakba. 🥹

"What is happening in Gaza now is not a separate event, but the direct extension of the year 48; the same tents erected for ancestors are set up today for grandchildren, the same scenes of forced displacement, systematic destruction, and attempts to write off the Palestinian presence are repeated live in front of a world that is content with watching and counting. 🥹😥

"But there is a fundamental difference that history lines today:

"If the 1948 Nakba's details were absent behind the blackout of history, the Nakba of Gaza today exposes the occupier and exposes the fake of the world. Grandchildren inherited the keys, and today's grandchildren defend the doors of the houses with their bodies, rooted in their land, refuse to refract or give up.

"The Nakba is not a memory of the memorial, but a continuous daily confrontation between the will to erase and the will of existence. From the midst of the rubble, ashes and fire in Gaza, we affirm that a people whose veins this sacrifice will not die, and their cause will not die. 🇵🇸🇵🇸🙏

"They are here.. Until the return, and even the liberation. ✌️ Support Gaza, and be its voice to the world.

"Your support and contribution to us is what makes a difference. Be part of alleviating our suffering. It is your cooperation and donations that strengthen our steadfastness and steadfastness in Gaza. Your presence with us in this war is important and human. 🙏🇵🇸📌"

Thank you for following along & for caring ❤️

Hello! Kati here. If you're new to Jamal's work, you can see GoFundMe updates from before we switched platforms here (but please route any donations through Chuffed please): gofundme.com/f/jamalfromgaza

Here is the latest from my Jamal:

On Tuesday, Jamal Abu Al-Atta did a qualitative and different work within the Mutual Aid Foundation @foodnotbombs_gaza to make an entertaining day for children and families in the displacement camps east of Deir Al-Balah. We did this to make joy, hope and laughter in the rubble 👌❤

"A child's laugh is the ultimate act of defiance."

In the heart of the tents, where the spaces narrowed, we found in the laughter of the children an endless breadth. 🎈

Today was not just an entertainment activity, but a message that our children deserve joy, and that their right to play and dream does not fall on displacement. We saw in their eyes strength and innocence that gives us hope before we give it to them.

🇵🇸🥰

Thank you to everyone who contributed to drawing these moments, and thank you to these little hearts that taught us the meaning of resilience with a smile. 😎

Despite the noise, we chose to sow joy. Today, let's give them back their simple right to play and laugh. The pictures talk about unbreakable energy and eyes that are still dreaming. 🌹

Look at these faces. These children have seen more than any heart should bear, and yet their souls are still unbroken. Today, we weren't just playing; we were recovering childhood. We used to remind the world that even here, life insists on living.

Through simple games and shared smiles, we find the strength to continue. This is our Gaza: tired, but still dreaming. Strong, but still fun. 🙏👌

Help us share their smiles. Let the world see the light that refuses to fade.

In the heart of Gaza, where the world sees nothing but hardship, we have chosen to see the potential. Today, we brought smiles back to these faces through simple play and pure joy. These children are not just survivors; they are dreamers who deserve a moment of peace and happiness for life. 🎯🇵🇸🇵🇸

By supporting our community initiatives, you're not just providing aid – you're investing in the hope and mental well-being of a generation that refuses to give up. 🔗👆

Send donations directly to Gaza here on Chuffed, and follow Jamal's day-to-day on Instagram at @foodnotbombs_gaza.

Thank you so much.

A painful reality, an unfair reality, a crime reality Here is the report divided into focused explanatory points that summarize aspects of the crisis:

The roots of the crisis: Famine broke out as a result of the suffocating blockade and the closure of vital crossings, which led to the exhaustion of the strategic stock of basic foodstuffs.

The collapse of purchasing power: Rampant inflation has caused a crazy rise in prices, as obtaining the simplest goods requires amounts that exceed the income of affected families by hundreds of times.

Forced alternatives: In the absence of wheat and flour, residents were forced to grind "animal feed" and use wild weeds to fill their children, in a scene that reflects the cruelty of deprivation.

Health decline: Record rates of acute malnutrition (wasting) have been recorded, especially among infants whose mothers have lost the ability to breastfeed them due to hunger and drought.

Water and fuel scarcity: The food crisis was accompanied by a lack of drinking water and the absence of cooking gas, forcing people to set fire to plastics and old clothes, causing respiratory diseases.

Social solidarity: Individual initiatives and popular kitchens (Takaya) emerged as the first line of defense, with people sharing the little left to strengthen the resilience of society.

Psychological effects: Famine left deep psychological traumas, especially in parents who stood unable to provide food for their children, which generated a collective sense of oppression and injustice.

Using hunger as a weapon: Human rights reports have proven that the attack and starvation of civilians has been used as a tool of political and military pressure, which is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

International response: The international situation was characterized by slowness and weakness in the face of the scale of the disaster, as aid continued to enter in scarce quantities that did not meet the minimum needs.

Lasting scars: The effects of this famine will not end with the end of the crisis, but will extend to affect the physical and mental development of an entire generation of children who have experienced this ordeal.

In Gaza, “life” is nothing more than a daily attempt to survive. As the stifling siege continues, thousands of families lack the most basic necessities for survival. There is no clean water, no gas for cooking, and no shelter to protect against the harsh conditions. Half of the displaced today suffer from skin and environmental diseases due to overcrowding and lack of sanitation. International silence is no longer acceptable in the face of this disaster.🇵🇸🥹

“Siege Engineering.” This is how what remains of Gaza’s economy is being destroyed. Today, families are forced to burn waste to cook, while aid is reduced to its lowest levels. Every day that passes is a heavy burden on the 2.4 million people living in an open prison, where death comes not only from bombing, but from

More than two years of suffering, and 77 years of decline in human development... Gaza today is not just a geographical disaster, but rather a test of the conscience of the world. 1.9 million displaced people face an unknown future amid the rubble of their homes. Stop this disaster now.

But the most important need now is “urgent relief.” We are in a race against time to provide food and medicine to hundreds of thousands of families who have lost everything. Your support is not just a donation, but rather a lifeline at a time when all means are cut off.

Urgent and necessary 🚨🚨👇
Your sacrifice means joy and help for the people of G a z a

In light of steadfastness and patience, thousands of children and families in G a z an are waiting for a touch of tenderness that relieves them of the bitterness of the days.

Let it be the hand that feeds, and the heart that comforts.

This project seeks to provide Eid sacrifices and distribute them to displaced and most needy families, to draw the smile of Eid on faces tired of the siege.

FNB Gaza's Goal: $5500🎯
Together we can gather and do it🔇

The first day of Eid al-Adha:

Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Meat is currently considered one of the rarest and most expensive goods in the sector. Let’s make them feel that they are not alone on this Eid! To try to alleviate their suffering and fight famine, FNB G a z a is accepting any amount you can pay for yourself!🇵🇸

Gaza is not just news on the screen, Gaza is mothers, children, and families waiting for a humanitarian gesture from us. Be the hope today.

The more our partnerships increase, the wider the circle of beneficiaries and the fewer the hungry🥹

Until this moment, the war has not stopped, and the killing and bombing are still presentThe crossings are constantly closed, which leads to insane prices🙏Be our support, friends

PODCAST "RESISTANCE IS ART" @FortColIinsPublicMedia: In a new thought-provoking conversation, I talk with Antonia Zotti, whom I met at her “Resisting is Art” exhibit at Wolverine Farm Publick House during the April 2026 Fort Collins First Friday Art walk. (The exhibit will be there until April 28.)

We discuss Antonia’s passion and hope for bringing help to those experiencing tremendous suffering in Gaza over the years, and which is only becoming more and more dire as the powers that be continue to fight for land and resources throughout the Middle East and other parts of our world.

While Antonia is horrified by the atrocities, she also aspires to bring peace and hope to people who are trying to live their lives in this unstable region. A few important points which we didn’t cover in this interviewinclude the following:

*The titles of the artwork in her exhibit (ending on April 29,2026): WCNSF (Wounded Children No Surviving Family), Social Media, The Bible, Wanted, Maria & Baby Jesus, DNA, Mowing the Lawn, From the River to the Sea, They Steal Everything, Lies, Digital Scream, Children of Light

*Where do the proceeds from Antonia Zotti’s artsales go? There is an explanation for this, with 3 different QR codes at the exhibit. In a nutshell, sales from "Resistingis Art " go to help people in Gaza, including film maker Hamad Isbaita & Food Not Bombs activist (in Deir al-Balah, Gaza), Jamal Al-Atta. These sales will help with purchases of tents and other essentials for displaces people in Gaza. Because the QR codes for the donations go to Hamad and Jamal’s private accounts, they are not tax deductible. However, 100% of clothing purchases from Antonia’s Hero Collection will go to HEAL PALESTINE, a registered non-profit.

*When discussing the strength, resilience, and positive outlook of many Gaza survivors, Antonia and I base our discussion on our personal interactions with people she has become acquainted with in Gaza and whom I know that have experienced similar situations which we haven't personally endured...

Today, Jamal, the executive director of the local @foodnotbombs_gaza organization in Gaza, presented and purchased a tent for a family of nine people who is in dire need of it. Jamal did this to protect them from the extreme cold.✊

Despite the difficult circumstances, suffering and war we are exposed to, we succeeded in securing this despite its high cost. The Food, Not Bombs project is our main artery. Your generous and continuous support is what keeps us continuing in this humanitarian work. Thank you to friends, donors, and artists from all over the world for your support in trying to alleviate our suffering.💪😎

Every step, no matter how small, makes a big difference. The land here is suffering, and the people need us. Let us stand together for Gaza, for its children. Your donation today can make a real difference. Your dollar / your word / speaking on us / protests are all simple tools, but they are a lifeline for us

The living conditions of the majority of the population are also
still horrific... We at Food, Food,notbombs_gaza touch this suffering daily and are trying to alleviate it with your help. How can you help? ◆ Share this post to spread the word and extend help. Donate or join our volunteer team - link in profile.

Why food? Why not bombs? The world spends billions on destruction, and we believe that a loaf of bread is more useful and lasting. At Food Not Bombs Gaza, we believe that hunger is not fate, but rather the result of the absence of justice. With your cooperation, we will rearrange priorities to put people and their dignity first.

Many families still need new tents, and the cost of each tent is between $500/$600.If you can, donate via the link above for the less fortunate families here in Gaza🙏🥹

Today we need you more than ever because the scale of the tragedy exceeds our capacity but not our combined capabilities. Another important reminder to everyone outside Gaza that the genocide has never stopped and that the occupation continues to kill innocents daily.📌

Please, keep us in your minds and hearts as the news turns away from the situation here.

We plan to do more initiatives and events soon🇵🇸

Each envelope contains two kilos of dishes, fresh rice, and each dish contains rice, meat and fresh chicken, which means the total is 40 kilos of rice. 👌

Every family received a plate 🥣 fresh food

The number of beneficiarys is 40 displaced families in northern Gaza who live in tents despite the difficult conditions and the ongoing war, we succeeded in securing this🫶☝

Each family received a kilo of fresh rice and meat as well.

The joy was on their faces when they received food at a time when suffering, barbaric war and high prices were intensifying.

Out of respect for the dignity of the families, their filming was closed during distribution in order to preserve their chastity and dignity in the community. We accepted this request from families in order to protect their privacy.📍

Killing happened every day. Unfortunately, the killing did not stop at this moment🥹📌

Stop the genocide

The war continues fiercely. We are exposed to death at any moment🥹🥹

What we are going through today is not just headlines in the news, but rather details that we experience every second. Suffering in Ga4za is not a passing “event,” but rather a daily battle🙏

Restless sounds: It is not limited to the noise of the bombing, but also in the frightening silence that follows it, and in the anticipation that lives in the eyes. Every house here has a story, and every corner holds a memory of a house that was once busy yesterday.

Loss and pain: Pain is no longer just the loss of a place, but rather the loss of companions, loved ones who left us without saying goodbye, and dreams that aspired to a simple and peaceful future.📌🇵🇸😥

Anyone who thinks that the war is over is wrong, as you can see with your own eyes what is happening to usDon't be passive, do everything in your power, show the truth with all your mightContinue to hold demonstrations and needs in solidarity with us

I always say that we are human beings like you, we have the right to live like any normal person in the worldWe implore you to spread the word because your voice makes a difference🇵🇸📌📌

On March 30, 2026, the Israeli Knesset finally approved a draft law that would allow the imposition of the death penalty on Pales4tinian prisoners🥹🇵🇸🙏

The most prominent details of the decision:

Vote: The law was ratified by the second and third readings by a majority of 62 members against 48.🫩

Driver: The bill was led by National Security Minister Itmar Ben Gvir with the support of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.🥹🇵🇸

Powers: The law gives military and civilian courts the power to pass death sentences in “certain circumstances” related to killings on a national basis.🙏

Affected groups: Observers point out that the decision could threaten the lives of thousands of prisoners in prison (currently about 9,500 prisoners)🥹

How long will the Arab countries remain silent?
How long will we remain silent and not speak the truth?
How long will the fear of the entity last?
How long will we lie and not stand up from an oppressed people who have the right to live?
How long will you be afraid of your state’s decisions?
How long will we suffer all this suffering? We are approaching three years and we are living the most difficult days of our lives🥹
Last but not least, we beg you not to leave us alone struggling with life and deathWe are human beings like you, we have the right to live the simplest aspects of our livesComment, share with friends, remember well that we are a trust in your handsYour support and contribution is what saves us from death🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🙏✌

In 1948, it was not just a war or a political defeat, but an attempt to uproot an entire people from its memory, history, and history.🥹

They call it “Nakba”, but we call it “the beginning” for every steadfastness that came after it. It is the year in which the house turned into a tent, and the key to a trust inherited from generation to generation.🇵🇸

📍 What happened in 1948

Uprooting: More than 750,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced from their cities and villages.🇵🇸

Land theft: the destruction of more than 500 Palestinian villages and towns and their erasing from the map🥹🙏

Breaking geography: The ancient Palestinian cities (Jaffa, Haifa, Acre, and Lod) have been transformed into memories carried by refugees in the diaspora camps
The Nakba is not only a sad memory, but a daily reminder that the right behind the demands do not die, and that the land that was watered by the sweat of the ancestors in 48 will not be satisfied with other than its owners as an alternative.🥹

What is happening today in Ga4za is not just a "war", but a restoration of the scenes of the 1948 Nakba in all its painful details, but with new faces and a solid determination.🥹😥🙏

If the Nakba 48 succeeded in dispersing the diaspora, Ga4za today proves that Palestinian consciousness has matured; clinging to the land despite the destruction is the strongest response to the displacement project. We are not only defending Ga4za, but we are defending our right to exist on every soil atom from the Galilee to the Negev.
They remain, they remain, they remain👆
It is true that we live in tents, but we will remain steadfast until my last breath🥹🙏

They told us to leave in 48. They thought we would forget. Today in Ga4za, we say to the world: We will not repeat the mistake of leaving, we are here who remain, planted like olive trees.”👌✌✌✌🇵🇸

Tomorrow will be the first day of Eid after fasting for 30 days🙏✌🇵🇸
Who wants to be a partner in making hope and smile for us on this Eid, all of you have known for more than two years, and why don't we know what the form of joy is and how the reason for this is what we see of a difficult life, killing, starvation, displacement and displacement, what I mean, don't leave us alone in this Eid, the giving and support you offer, no matter what, it will help alleviate part of what we see every day💔🥹

What will you lose if you send us some dollars? You are our hope and soul. Forget that. We have the right to live like any ordinary person in the world.🙏🌏📍

A message to the old friends I have known since the beginning of the war. I send all my love and respect to all of you. You always do everything in my power for me and for my family and I have an entire people.🇵🇸✌👌

A message to new friends. What can you offer us on this Eid? How do you express your love for humanity? I tell you that we need you more than ever. Your support for us is not just help, but a message of strength that says this means that you are not alone in this world.🙏🇵🇸

If you can't donate to us, it means that liking, sharing and commenting is the easiest way for you. Don't forget that.📌

Be the one who has what you offer, don't hesitate to do so for us, time passes and our needs increase in this difficult time🥹

Your donation, giving and gift to us on this Eid is a real recognition of our common humanity🇵🇸🇵🇸🙏😥

Critical Support Needed:🇵🇸🙏

Please help support Jamal Abu Al-Ata and G a za Food Not Bombs! They are in dire need of donations to provide much needed mutual aid to people facing starvation and genocide in Gaza.🙏

Food Not Bombs in Ga za feeds hundreds of families, they are a critical lifeline in G a za, and they rely on donations to be able to sustain their efforts. Please donate to their go fund me if you can, like and share this post.🇵🇸🙏

Free Palestine!

The bitter truth that cannot be ignored: the war continues: the guns have not stopped, the displacement has not stopped, and the buildings have been razed to the ground. Famine is a reality: Famine is no longer a specter threatening us, but rather a reality that is devastating the bodies of children and the elderly in the north and south of the Ga za Strip. Eid is an additional wound: How does a child who lost his family, or a father who does not have anything to feed his children, smile on the morning of Eid?🇵🇸

Why is your donation now a "time requirement"? Your donation is not just "excess charity," but rather a bullet in the chest of hunger: Feeding the hungry: Your contribution is immediately transformed into food parcels and flour that satisfies the hunger of the bereaved. Breaking the psychological siege: When your help reaches him, Al-Ghazi knows that he is not alone in facing the machine of killing and hunger. Establishing steadfastness: People's survival on their land requires basic life necessities, and you are the one who provides them. "Do not let Gaza die of hunger under the eyes of the world... Eid is an opportunity to prove that our brotherhood is not just words."
Wait for us after Eid with our quality works Keep us in your hearts and mindsThere are two days left until Eid They talked about us constantly Thank you for your presence in our lives.
I am honored to call you friends🇵🇸🇵🇸🙏

I photographed this dust storm because of the force of the storm. We were suffocated and even breathing with great difficulty🥹💔
Honestly, I said our death was closeI told my family to put on masks and wet them with waterSo that you can breathe🥹
I personally fainted for a short timeFrom the power of dustThen after that my family treated me and I am now improving🙏
I want to tell you, do not forget us, keep us in your hearts and mindsWe have the right to live like any normal human being🙏🥹
I always say why all this injustice against us for how long?
Tell friends and relatives about us and the importance of supporting us
Now I have a crazy toothache and the cost of doing this is so high I can't afford itIf you are interested in collaborating, I posted an update on the campaign🙏
Also, lately, I have been suffering from the difficult reality I am exposed toA big responsibility on my shoulders🥹🇵🇸
I also want to inform you that Eid al-Fitr is just around the corner, with 5 days remainingWhat will you do for us to bring smiles and hope?In the midst of the events we are experiencing🙏🤲💔
Last but not least, we ask you to spread the word so that we can gain new supporters and donorsTo alleviate the difficult reality we live in🇵🇸🇵🇸🙏🙏🤲As we prepared for Eid, our people in the camps faced a harsh night in which the children suffocated and the dilapidated tents collapsed. The storm may have passed, but its effect on the chests and torn tents will not go away unless you stand up. Make this year’s “Eidiya” an urgent relief for those who are fed up with the earth’s spaciousness. Your donation today is the bond, the wall that protects a family from the dust of oppression. 🕊️📦

This video months ago, I used to do everything I can to help people, but now things are getting more difficult because of a significant weakness in donations, and this is completely for us in all aspects of our lives.🥹🇵🇸🙏

The sounds of explosions are still the only alarm, and the night of Gaza is still long and burdened with pain. The war has not yet stopped, and the suffering has not stopped at the limits of the bombing, but has extended to the livelihood.

A reality that is getting cruel:

The spectre of hunger: Our table lacks the simplest elements of life, and hunger has become a heavy guest who devours the bodies of young and old.

Price fire: Obscene prices turned the basics into elusive dreams; prices are no longer reasonable, and resilience is weakening day by day.
You can create a poster and flyer in your workplace or needs those who might be interested in standing with us

Loss of security: No home protects, and no horizon waves in the near release, but hope in God remains the only support.

Gaza does not need just words, but needs your donation to this human tragedy. 🤲🇵🇸
We beg you to convey the news of the importance of cooperating and contributing with usKeep us in your minds and hearts🇵🇸🙏😥

A few months ago, we did a lot of work within the @foodnotbombs_gaza project and foundation. The work we did in the most difficult living conditions, including distributing flour to dozens of displaced families in the north and south of the country. We did this initiative more than once on a regular and regular basis.
We also organized and conducted events to distribute fresh bread to hundreds of displaced families living in tents. We also repeated this event more than once due to people’s need.
We also distributed cash three times to more than one family
We also distributed fresh rice to dozens of displaced families. We repeated this distribution because of people’s constant need for food.🙏🇵🇸We also organized and distributed flour more than once to displaced families due to their repeated requests. Therefore, I did so in order not to be exposed to the worst types of difficult living conditions.
Also, four to five months ago, we assisted eight families in evacuating them from north to south Gaza, including the Deir al-Balah area and the Khan Yunis and Nuseirat Mawasi areas. The cost of transportation was very high, as you know, and I fully borne all transportation costs. $Also recently, a few days ago, we distributed and assisted 72 families with emergency food Also, a few days ago, we held a huge event for the first time to distribute food parcels to 60 families, including vegetables, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, and lemons. The cost of this event was high. However, I did it. You can read the post on the first page. But, my friends, the need is still urgent and needed in light of the current circumstances to which we are exposed, including the closure of crossings and rising prices, and the war is still continuing and has not stopped yet. Our situation has not changed here. Donations and support have been very low recently, and this is affecting us to continue our charitable and humanitarian work so we are begging our friends to help spread the word to new followers. Please, keep us in your hearts and minds.🇵🇸🙏😥
Cooperating with us is a humanitarian and moral duty to prevent the crisis from worseningto which we are exposed

The Iranian attack led to the closure of the border crossings by the IDF and the prices of living rose automatically. How long will we suffer from the scourge of war? How long will the war against us continue by the ISR? How long will we stay in tents? How long will we see the ugliest types of injustice? How long will we suffer the rise in living standards? How long will we suffer from the bitter cold? How long will we continue to suffer from hunger? We have the right to live in peace like any ordinary person in the world. Raise your voice with us. Your voice is what breaks our isolation. Do not look at the smallness of what you give, but rather look at the greatness of what is in the life of a person who lives in tents.”🥹🙏
Price madness: With every regional tension, the cost of shipping increases, which means a new rise in the prices of basic commodities, which have become a dream for many. Exploitation of crises by merchants. Wars are an opportunity to monopolize and raise prices under the pretext of instability. The victim is always the simple citizen who lives in a tent, meaning us.😭 Be the hand that feeds and the heart that consoles. Support our steadfastness in this humanitarian catastrophe in order to fill the thirst of the hungry. Your contribution to us is not just a donation, but rather a message of love and loyalty that tells us that humanity is higher than the resilience of rubble. The best way to express the meaning of humanity is to donate because it is the means that has the most impact on our daily lives. You can also make posters for me and publish them in your workplace or publish them in needs or with friends and tell them about the importance of cooperation and donation to us as we live in reality. Difficult.🇵🇸🥹We repeat what we say. Recently, there has been double the volume of donations, and this affects our daily lives in providing the simplest necessities of life. Therefore, we implore you to spread the word and obtain new followers and donors who may be interested in by our side. Keep us in your hearts and minds.🥹🇵🇸😭Your support for us is the difference between hunger and pain😣🙏💔

The attacks now on Iran and Tehran are directly affecting G4za🥹🙏🥹🇮🇷🇵🇸
As the eyes of the world are directed towards the sky of Tehran, what does this escalation mean to us? ⏱️
International distraction: There are real fears that the media and diplomatic focus will shift to a “major regional war,” which could give the green light to further escalation inside Gaza away from international surveillance. ⚠️
Hope mixed with fear: The displaced is watching in his tent cross-border rockets, hoping that this is the “end” that forces everyone to stop, but at the same time he fears that the wreckage of Gaza is the forgotten price in the adult conflict. ⛺🚀
One sky.. Different fates: The painful irony is that the world is alienated when it touchs the borders of countries, while Ga،_za seems to be "outside the limits of global anxiety" despite months of bleeding. 🌎💔

Finding a way out: The Gazian interaction with the attacks on Iran is not a “celebration of war,” but an instinctive search for any variable that breaks the state of deadlock and daily death.

We are not waiting for new wars, we are waiting for the moment when we return to our homes, away from the language of missiles and destruction. 🕊️🏠
Now there is a crazy rise in prices due to the attack on Iran and the goods have disappeared and the situation is getting worse here 🥹🙏Price madness: With each regional tension, the cost of shipping is increasing and supply chains are disrupted (alreasintly faltering), which means a new rise in commodity prices that has become a dream for many. 📈🍎Exploiting crises: Unfortunately, major tensions give "war merchants" a chance to monopolize and raise prices under the pretext of "instability", and the victim is always the simple citizen in his tent. ⛺💔

Conclusion: The regional war for us is not just news, but a more expensive loaf of bread, a more far-reached canned box, and a life that is becoming more complex and more complex.🥹💔🇮🇷🇵🇸

A new update. This is our fully destroyed house, consisting of 4 floors, an area of 260 metres, which was fully demolished by the ISR. The house was located in the area of the Shajaiya neighbourhood in northern Gaza. Now it has become a pile of ash by the IDF.🥹
Now we live in tents, and living is very difficult. In the cold, we freeze from the cold, and in the hot weather, we can't afford to live in it. Despite the land in which we live, the landowner asks for monthly renting the land. Not to mention bearing all the burdens on us, the situation is very difficult, I can't stand all this suffering alone🙏
What I want is to stand with me in this ordeal to get some of the damage we suffer from a great loss. We only have a tent. We beg you to find a second place other than living in tents, such as the house. We need a house, but I can't afford the expenses and the cost of it until you cooperate with me. Living in tents is difficult.💔🙏
The cost of buying a house in Gaza is very expensive, but you should know that the cost of a house in Gaza is about 60,000 dollars is a very large and crazy amount so that you are aware of that. My family and I dreamed to have a house, but as you know, the size of our suffering and the difficult living we are exposed to, we cannot afford. That. Please keep us in your minds and hearts Your donation is the difference between life and death😭🤲💔
Whatever your contribution, whether small or large, makes a difference for us, we hope to get part of the compensation we lost Your support is the only hope for us to move to a better life. I hope to find an alternative to living in a tent😞
While we close the doors of your homes to enjoy the warmth, we have no door that is closed except by the 'clouds' of a worn tent.” Save us from the cold. Your simple contribution is a lifeline in the middle of a sea of mud and suffering.”🙏
Don't look at the lack of what you give, but look at some greatness in the life of a man who lives in tents.”🥺
I hope. Getting a shelter that protects the dignity of my family from the displacement of summer and the cold of winter💣🥵
We are just looking for a life and a safe havenDon't stop talking about us🙏

A very important update: 👇Jamal, as part of the @foodnotbombs_gaza project, distributed vegetables for the first time, as Jamal promised you a few days ago with this event, and he succeeded in doing so thanks to your cooperation and generous contribution. We were able to support 60 families, and today we need you to reach more.💪
Our team worked with local farmers and traders to provide more than 60 families with large packages containing 15 kg of fruits and vegetables, enough for each family to last 5 days.
Each family received potatoes, avocados, lemons, bananas, apples, eggplants, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, green peppers and zucchini. Everyone was so happy to receive these and be able to provide their children with vital nutrients. The total cost of this event is $2,900. We were able to accomplish all of this only thanks to you and your support, and words cannot express our gratitude.👌🇵🇸thanks 🥰And thanks to the friends who donated to us
We are extremely grateful as always to our dear friends and supporters whose donations make these important events possible. We know that times are tough everywhere and a lot of people need help... but please don't forget that even though you don't hear about it very often, our situation has not changed here. Donations and support have been very low lately and this is affecting us as you know so we are begging our friends to help spread the word to new followers. Please, keep us in your hearts and minds.🥹Everyone lives in tents or the ruins of destroyed buildings and does not have the most basic necessities for life and other suffering. The smallest things can make a big difference in their quality of life.😔
Another important reminder to everyone outside Gaza that the genocide has never stopped and the occupation continues to kill innocents daily. The living conditions for the majority of the population are also horrific. Also, free aid is still not coming in, which means that without external support, most people are still going hungry. This means all. A dollar you donate is important, humanitarian, and makes a difference🤲
thanks We have great plans and events In the month of Ramadan Wait for us🇵🇸🤲🙏

New videoWithin the Food, Not Bombs project🇵🇸🙏
Our holiest month as Muslims began - a month dedicated to prayer, charity, and community💔
Everyone lives in tents or the ruins of destroyed buildings, has no electricity and other struggles. The smallest things can make a huge difference in their quality of life.🇵🇸
People here are still desperate and isolated. Please, keep us in your minds and hearts as the news turns away from the situation here.🥹📌
At least 15 martyrs were killed today alone and we still live in constant fear🤲😥
We just wanted to remind people of the important ways they can continue to show their solidarity and ask that you pass it on to others who may not be taking action to help yet 💵 We have unfortunately had to say things are worse than ever here many times over the course of over two years but the situation now is truly indescribable.🇵🇸💔
The scale of mass murder and starvation has escalated beyond what seemed possible and we are desperate. The occupation is still preventing most aid, including food and baby formula, from entering Gaza, and while people are slowly starving or dying from medical problems and injuries, the bombs do not stop targeting our families.🤲
We just wanted to remind people of the important ways they can continue to show their solidarity and ask that you pass it on to others who may not be taking action to help yet 💵 We have unfortunately had to say things are worse than ever here many times over the course of over two years but the situation right now is truly indescribable and lately there has been a lack of donations and this is affecting us as you know 😥💔

We say all this to ask you not to forget us, and not to let others around you forget us as well. Many people are asking how they can help, and there are many ways 🙏🇵🇸 We are, as always, planning an upcoming aid distribution event soon, stay tuned.🇵🇸🤲🙏💔👌

Here is the video and pictures of the new tent. I requested a tent a while ago because the old tent was torn apart from the winds and storms.🇵🇸
Thank you to our friends for donating to us in order to buy this tent to live in our family and to protect us from the extreme cold.❤🌹🇵🇸
Please keep it in your hearts and minds always🙏📍

We are extremely grateful as always to our friends and supporters whose donations make these important events possible 🌹🙏📌

We know that times are tough everywhere and that many people need help...but please don't forget that even though you don't hear about it as much, our situation has not changed here.

We are approaching the month of Ramadan. It is on Wednesday. You all know how to live in these difficult circumstances.🥹
The month of mercy overlooks us, our hearts are burdened with pain, and our houses have become a trace after eye.
In G a z a, we will not seek this year for “Za Ramadan”, but we are looking for a summit in which our children will fill their spres after a long day of hunger that was not imposed by fasting alone, but also imposed by the siege and aggression. 💔Displacement tent: It is the new "house" that lacks the minimum elements of life, where cold and hunger are drained by the bodies of young and old.🇵🇸🤲

"It is more difficult for a mother to stand helpless in front of her fasting child, and she has nothing to offer him at sunset but patience and supplication."🥹😭
Be hope in the middle of the rubble 🤝

Ramadan is the month of goodness, and your people in G a z a are living the most difficult conditions that humanity has known in our modern era. Your charity today is not just a donation, but a life artery, it is a crumb of bread that strengthens the body of a child, and a drop of water that quenches the thirst of a bad sheikh.🙏
Your donation is not just a number, but a loaf of bread that ends a child's hunger, and a dose of medicine🇵🇸🙏
Humanity is indivisible; Your standing with G a z a today is a test of the conscience of all of us towards those who face death every moment.”🥹🙏
* “Be a partner in steadfastness; your donation today is the strongest message that G a z a is not alone in the field.”🤲📌
* “Do not underestimate a little, for perhaps one dirham from you is what will create a miracle in someone’s day burdened with fear.”🥹👇
* “The people of G a z a are not asking for the impossible, they are only asking for their right to survive... Your support is a cry in the face of global silence.”🇵🇸🙏👌
In the light of these great days and the harsh conditions that our city is going through, cooperation is no longer just a beautiful quality, but it has become a lifeline.😣🗣
Strengthening resilience: Your simple contribution may be the reason for lighting a flame of hope for a family that has lost everything.🥹📌🙏

G a z a.. Between the hammer of death and the anvil of hunger 💔🇵🇸

What words are left to describe our situation? In G a z a, we no longer count the days with the calendar, but we promise them to those we lost, and how many nights we have sleeped and the intestines are dying of hunger. 😔

Life here has become “jihad” in every detail:
Livelihood: It became a dream, we cook a little of what we find on the fire of firewood that ate our breasts before the food was cooked. 🪵🔥
Water sorbet: an arduous daily journey, we are looking for a drop to quench the thirst of our young in the midst of endless destruction. 🚰🥀
The cold of the tents: Winter is not a beautiful season here, but an enemy that breaks into our worn tents, wets our covers and shakes the trembling bodies of our children. ⛈️⛺
We are a people who love life, but today we struggle only for survival. We lost homes, schools and safety. We have nothing left but God, and then your living hearts. ❤️🩹
Why is your donation today “saving a life”? 🆘
The issue is no longer a luxury, your donation is the difference between a child sleeping hungry or full, between a sheikh trembling from the cold or finding a cover to cover him:
Your donation is a food basket: breaking the hunger siege of a poor family. 🧺
Your donation is winter: you warm a body exhausted by fatigue and displacement. 🧣
Your donation is medicine: A wounded pain does not find the price of the bandage. 💊
"By God, in the help of the slave, the slave was not in the help of his brother." G az a does not need pity from you, but it needs sincere pause and actions that precede words.🥹🙏
You were the hope that brought hope to us in these difficult circumstances🥹🤝

EASY WAY TO HELP OTHERS ♥️

I know a lot of people would like to help create a kinder world, but are not sure what to do

Protests might not be your thing, there’s only so much money you can donate, and you might not be aware of other pathways

That’s part of why I’m organising this event! Everyone has clothes that no longer suit them, so I’m inviting you to have a clear out (even if it’s just that one jacket/jean/top you can let go) and drop off your pre-loved clothes, either at @oldpalesteinehouse (thu-sun 12-6) or @studio___baby (mon-sun, message to arrange a time) / both Brighton (UK) based

All donations will be sold for affordable prices (£5/£10/£15) and 100% will be donated to a mutual aid organisation in g a z a, @foodnotbombs_gaza

Haven’t got anything to donate? Pop by @oldpalesteinehouse on Sunday 15 February (12-5pm) to see if there’s any items that you’d like to take home ♥️ you’ll also be able to browse items by other local artists and traders raising money for p a l e s t i n e @oldpalesteinehouse

The total blockade began in June 2007, when strict restrictions were imposed on the movement of people and goods. Since then, Ga z a has become a geographically and economically isolated spot from the outside world and from the West Bank. 🚫🌍

🏗️ 19 years of 'crisis management' unsolved

Over these years, G a z a has witnessed harsh stops:

Repeated wars: (2008, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the Great Confrontation in 2023-2024) that have repeatedly destroyed the infrastructure. 💣🏚️

The policy of "drip": introducing only the minimum of humanitarian needs, which has left the economy in a state of permanent paralysis. 💧📉

💔 How does this long path affect us?

1. The generation of "siege" (youth) 🎓🚫

There are young people today in G a z a at the age of 19 who have not left the Strip even once in their lives.

Closing the horizon: The blockade deprived thousands of students of scholarships, and deprived workers of earning their livelihood, which led to the growth of a generation suffering from enormous psychological stress. 😔🧠

2. Erosion of the health sector 🏥💊

Since 2007, the medical system has been struggling. Today in 2026, hospitals suffer from a chronic shortage of spare parts for medical devices and specialized medicines, making any minor disease that may turn a life-threatening due to lack of treatment. 🚑⚠️

3. Destruction of social and family life 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

The blockade tore the social fabric; families dispersed between G a z a, the West Bank and abroad, cannot meet even on sad or happy occasions because of the "permits" that are often rejected. 🙅‍♂️💔

4. Catastrophic environmental situation 🌊🤢

After two decades of siege, water and sanitation facilities are completely dilapidated. More than 95% of groundwater is unfit for human consumption, and the sea, which is the only breather, suffers from constant pollution. 🚰🚫

💡 Conclusion

The blockade of G a z a from 2007 to 2026 is not just a political measure, but a collective punishment😭🥹🇵🇸🙏

Hello friends, as you know, I rent land. The monthly rent is $350, and I haven’t paid the landlord for three months because I’m responsible for providing food for my family and community through a food project (not bombs) during this difficult time. 🙏 Today, the landlord demanded payment of the total amount I owe, which is $1050. I have $100 of that amount, leaving a balance of $950. 🙏 We hope to collect this amount as soon as possible so that the landlord doesn’t evict us from his land. Thank you. 🇵🇸🥹🇵🇸

Jamal has been putting off paying land rent in order to secure the new tent, feed his family, and provide food for his neighbors as well. Now he direly needs to pay back $950 or be evicted. Please help Jamal & his family avoid yet another displacement (to where?!), especially after the exhaustion of only just having erected his new tent. Every cent matters. Sharing some pics of the new tent yall provided funds for below ❤️ Thank you so much, always.

Emergency call for a new tent to get Jamal & his family out of the cold! Trying to reach $700 in the next day or so to get them sheltered again. As you'll see in the photos and videos below, their current tent has collapsed and flooded, and they have nowhere to sleep. Donations are slim this days, and every dollar helps not only monetarily, but in messaging to Jamal that we haven't forgotten his family, and Gaza. It is easy for them to lose hope, and we have to keep finding it in ourselves & sending it. For those in the US like myself, reminder that what we are seeing play out locally is ripped from the IOF handbook. Palestinians are our family across the world. Please look after Jamal like you would a brother.

Sending so much love. Know we are all struggling right now. Kati

I want to tell you, friends, that there is a great weakness in donationsKnowing that, at this moment, we are suffering from the cessation of your supportThis negatively affects my life, such as eating, drinking, and basic needs🙏😥🥹😣😑
I created this image using artificial intelligenceDid you like the picture? This is me🫣🙈
Some may think that "getting the scene habit" means that the suffering is over, or that the low pace of news on some days means that things are fine. But the bitter truth is that the war has not stopped, and the pain in G a z a is deepening with the passing of the days.🥹🙏
Why do we need your stand now more than ever?
Autumn of cruelty: Winter knocks on doors and tents are worn, do not protect a cold and do not cover a family.🇵🇸🥹
Obscene: What was simple yesterday, today has become a distant dream due to the suffocating blockade.🙏🥹
Silence of donations: Caravans of goodness began to shrink, while hungry mouths and tired bodies increased.🙏
Always remember: Behind every statistic that passes on your screens, there is a child dreaming of a spaw of bread, a mother trying to warm her children with pieces of cardboard, and a father who stands helpless in front of the screams of hunger.😥🥹
“Do not leave G a z a alone in the face of death and hunger. Your giving is not just money, but a lifeline, it is a message of steadfastness that says to them: We are not alone.”🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸

She described the stories she heard from the Palestinians as “beyonding description,” and renewed her full support for the Palestinian people.

This visit came within the American delegation and accompanied by Egyptian officials, at a time when the region is witnessing a deterioration in humanitarian conditions.

The mutual aid project, Food Not Bombs, is important and humanitarian for usYour continued support for us is the only way for us to continue as we areThe suffering still continuesAnd living is difficultThe killing and siege continue until this momentPlease share with friends and local businesses who may be interested in contributing with us🇵🇸🥹🙏🇵🇸
Why your support is important to this project

Confronting forced hunger: In light of the siege and the suffocating crisis, a hot meal becomes a lifeblood for displaced children and families.

Takaful from the heart of suffering: The project is based on “Mutual Aid”, that is, we help each other as one steadfast community.

A message to the world: We choose to sow hope at a time when others sow despair. "Food, not bombs" is our slogan and the slogan of every free human being. If you are interested, contact me and we will cooperate in enlarging this project🗣🇵🇸🙏

Cropped from a local screenshot of the Instagram post.

Today we distributed 90 bundles of fresh bread to 90 displaced families in the southern G a z a Strip as part of a project 🇵🇸MUTUAL AID "FOOD NOT BOMBS"🇵🇸 Thank you to my friends for this support. Today was a day full of achievements, an event and an initiative that brought joy to displaced families. 👌🍉🫂But unfortunately, the need remains very urgent and extremely high. 😥 Contributing to our cause means telling us and the displaced people, "You are not alone." Today, while working on the initiative, many families told me, "Jamal, tell your friends not to stop supporting us." Because we lack job opportunities, let's cooperate to break the cycle of despair. 🙏📢

The decline in donations is a slow death sentence for hundreds of displaced families. 🥺🥺 It is true that efforts are being made to bring in some aid, but these do not meet the minimum basic needs. 🙏🙏 I hope this project will be expanded significantly; instead of supporting 90 families, we could support 300 families. This depends on your support and contributions; the more contributions and donations, the more people we can help. 📢🙏🫂Do that for us We have gone from difficult to even more difficult, meaning from shortage to actual collapse. In all sectors We ask all sellers to donate a portion of their profits to the foundation and my project. Mutual aid is food, not bombs. Send donations directly to G a z a Also, the best way to raise funds is through raffles, lotteries, workshops, conferences, seminars, events, or for example, selling a piece of art, etc. Also, you can do a free tattoo day; part of the profits goes to a worthwhile cause. And support the food project, not the bombs project, which I'm working on.🙏😎🫂🙏

Be part of the mercy that keeps our people steadfast Remember that the mutual aid project is our main artery. Don't believe there's a ceasefire; this is a political lie disguised as a political statement. 🥺😥 The dead, wounded, and the bombing are still ongoing at this moment. Western media is not showing you the truth 🥺 Together we will bring hope in these circumstances We need food constantly; humanitarian initiatives are our only hope. Do something for us 🍉🍉📢

Hello, happy holidays to all who celebrate around now. Jamal wants to share with you a timeline of his displacement as we approach the new year. He writes:

"The story of displacement from the year 7/10/2024 to this day 27/12/2025 and now we are approaching a new year 2026

"We went on the first displacement to one of the relatives, and when we couldn't bear the intensity of the crazy bombing, I decided to leave the place and go to the schools of Tel Al-Air, where I stayed for two weeks.

"After that, I was displaced to Jabaliya Al-Balad on 6/11/2024 I stayed in it for two days, then I decided to leave and move again because of the crazy bombing. The occupier bombed an entire residential square, Al-Shajaiya area and Al-Tawab area.It was a violent belt of fire that was displaced to the south and the road was difficult and very long on foot. I saw the gots and flies helping me.

"After that, I arrived at the Anwarwa schools. I stayed there for 420 days. After that, he announced a ceasefire. My family and I returned to my area where he was born and grew up, but unfortunately, two months later, the war was returned.

"Unfortunately, we were displaced again to a relative. After that, I was displaced to a camp in Tel Al-Hawa for between 3 to four months.

"After that, the occupier published leaflets evacuating the northern region In the beginning, I refused, but due to the intensity of the pain went to the south for work. Transportation was very difficult, but the donor friends did not let me bear the full costs of transportation. Thank you.

"Then I was displaced to Deir Al-Balah. Now my family and I are in Deir Al-Balah in the middle of the sector

"What I want from you is to support me and support my family and my community continuously around Christmas. what can you do for us?

"A message to the artists here. We want you to stand with us at this time. The situation for us is difficult. You can do a flash sheet for tattoos or, for example, sell some art for us. Raffles can be made for us too. If you are interested, contact us. This is the best way to raise funds for us.

"A short time ago, some friends from the United States of America made an important tattoo event for us to raise funds and we have already distributed food to dozens of displaced families. Thank you.

"We want to repeat this in order to continue our work. Thank you."

Happiest holidays. Thank you for continuing to pay attention when so many look away. Thank you for the food money, for the medical assistance, for the hope.

All my love, Kati

Look at the eyes of the little ones. They escape from the water and find the cold waiting for them. How does a child whose bed drowned sleep? And how does a trembling body warm up until it hides voice? The rain that revives the earth, kills hope in us inside these stricken tents. Your kindness to us, O Lord, the earth has narrowed for us with what it has welcomed.”🥹🥹🥹

A Message from the Heart of Pain at Christmas Time *
🥺🙏🍉I personally respect all religions regardless of their beliefs, but when you celebrate, don’t forget how Gaza is suffering. 🥺
What I mean is that some of the expenses for the celebration could be forgone and saved for a needy family like ours. 🫂
We can talk about the New Year, but there are mothers suffering in tents, enduring the bitter cold. There is relentless bombing and killing. There are countries where tents are burned by the occupier 😡🍉🚨

While the world prepares to welcome Christmas with its lights, decorations, and songs of peace, Gaza is shrouded in black and experiencing a different kind of Christmas, a Christmas without joy, a Christmas under the rubble.🚨

How can we light the Christmas tree when darkness hangs over the hearts of thousands of mothers, fathers, and children? How can we exchange greetings when the cries of the displaced and orphans are the loudest sound?🍉🚨

In Gaza, where the message of peace was born, peace has become a distant dream. No decorated trees, only destroyed homes. No gifts under a tree, only missing persons under the rubble. No carols of joy, only cries of pain and moans. A sorrowful Christmas.
🥺☝️
The Christians of Gaza, like all their people, are spending the holiday in tents or inside churches that have been turned into shelters, far from their destroyed homes and churches. A message to the world: Christmas is a reminder of the birth of hope

And peace. But in Gaza, hope is fading every day because of the siege, hunger, and war. This holiday, instead of celebrating, we invite you to pray: for an immediate end to the war and the establishment of a just peace. Raise your voices in solidarity with the people of Gaza, Christians and Muslims, who are facing annihilation.
🙏🙏
Also, don’t forget your support for us in trying to alleviate some of our suffering🍉🙏📢😥🙍
I have no problem with New Year’s, but please don’t forget the importance of your solidarity with us. We trust you. Every dollar you save for us at this celebration makes a difference and feeds a hungry child.🙏🙏🥺🫂

A very important update: Since the ceasefire was announced, there have been no new contributions or donations. This is very sad.🍉🥺📌

Some people think that the ceasefire means the end of everything, but this is an unsound and incorrect way of thinking. The evidence is that we have no homes because they were bombed, and we have no lands because they are under the control of the IDF army, and living conditions are difficult. How can our suffering be alleviated? You must know very well that we need all of you.
🙏🙏
Your presence makes a difference to us, and the ISR is deceiving the world with a ceasefire. The evidence is that in January, when there was a ceasefire, the war returned with full force and ferocity, killing entire families, wiping them off the civil registry, destroying, and doing what the Nazis do. How can you trust them? You must know very well that stopping your donations to all the residents of g4za makes us frustrated because we depend on you🚨👥📢🍀🌿
🥺🙏
Until this moment, we are living in tents. This in itself is extremely painful. Some people also think that the ceasefire is a kind of paradise for G4ZA, but we are living the opposite of that, suffering in various forms
The occupier will be recorded by history as they are from the wrong side
📌🥺😔📍
This cease-fire does not mean that the houses are back on the contrary.🙏🙏🍉🍉🚨

We still lose uncalculated things every day

We need to be rebuilt and away from injustice!

If you are an artist, a makers, a service provider, etc. it's amazing! The amount of mitigation that can be progressive to the A4ZA people

Everyone has the ability to do great things, what can it be?😔😞

do us

Please rethink the incorrect convictions you have. Sorry for this method, but this is the fact that the ceasefire is just a hoax in a political sentence, please, no!🙏🍉🍉📍📌

Leave us alone, struggle with life and death🥺👥. Thank you📍🙏👥👥🚨🍉

Oh world...We are drowning now, save us! 🥺📢🥺

As winter breathes its coldest breath, our flimsy tents in G a za turn into muddy swamps that swallow what little we have left. The rain is no longer just drops, but torrents of suffering that drown our dreams and the bodies of our children.🍉🥺📢🙏

The tragedy is as deep as the numbers.🙏

The ground has turned to mud. Hundreds of thousands of displaced people live in tents that cannot withstand the wind or the rain. The ground beneath us is no longer a place to sleep, but a pool of mud and bitter cold.
🥺📢😞
We need new tents. Your support is our only hope to avoid this cold and also the winter season.
🙏
No protection, no warmth: There are no safe or sufficient heating methods. The cold is ravaging the weakened immune systems of children, the elderly, and the sick.📢🥺

Disease is rampant. With stagnant water and poor sanitation, respiratory, skin, and gastrointestinal diseases are spreading catastrophically,
🙏😌😞
especially among our innocent children.

Food and medicine are scarce: Access to basic needs has become more difficult as aid is hampered by rain and mud🥺

We are not numbers. We are families torn apart by bombing, displaced by the siege, and now drowned by winter. We appeal to you, as brothers and sisters in humanity, to raise your voices with us. This is not just a humanitarian crisis, but a silent crime committed by harsh conditions amid global indifference.
📢🥺

We are drowning now. We need new tents to protect us from the cold. Every dollar you donate helps. We are in danger now. 😞Comment, share, talk about us. We are now in the most difficult circumstances.A major low-pressure system is affecting us🍉🥺🥺ka

The 🇵🇸MUTUAL AID project "FOOD NOT BOMBS"🇵🇸 again distributed fresh bread to 75 families at the request of the camp where I live. Thank you to everyone who donates and cares about us.🍉🫂💪

The need is still urgent and required, friends. We are in constant conflict with this occupier. There is no ceasefire, but killing is increasing every day.🥺🫂

Living is getting worse but it's your continued support that strengthens our resilience.

I always say since the beginning of the war and I am on this charitable and humanitarian path to help the people of Gaza, I will continue until the end of the road

Also, this mutual food assistance project can only be pursued through your sustainable cooperation.

Wait for us to make more projects in the coming days, every dollar you offer goes directly to Gaza

The importance of supporting projects in Gaza 🌟1. 🍎 Meeting urgent basic needsFood security: With the deterioration of economic conditions and a severe lack of resources, the project provides the necessary food to the most vulnerable families, protecting them from hunger and malnutrition, especially among children and women. Covering shortages: Mutual aid fills the gap that large organizations or the government cannot fully cover, especially in hard-to-reach areas.

Alleviating human suffering📢🍉🫂

Reducing the burden: Material and food support relieves the enormous pressure on families who have lost their sources of income or their homes have been damaged. Human dignity: Providing food with dignity preserves the social and psychological fabric of individuals, and makes them feel that they are not alone in this crisis.🙏🚨📢

3. 🤝 Enhancing community solidarity (mutual assistance)
🙏
Spirit of cooperation: The “Mutual Aid” project embodies the principle of solidarity, where the local community participates in helping each other, which strengthens social ties and prevents community collapse.

In short, under the current conditions in Gaza, wh🥺ere economic, social and humanitarian challenges are intertwined, supporting a project such as “mutual aid food” is an absolute necessity to save lives, preserve dignity, and strengthen the resilience of society.🥺🫂🍉📢

jamal shared this video, photo, and message with me this morning, and now i share with you. nobody should have to live like this.

"Suffering of living in tents in Gaza

The experience of displaced people in Gaza, especially those living in tents, is a harsh combination of ongoing danger and fundamental deprivation:

1. ️ Weather challenges and natural disasters

Drowning and flooding: As I mentioned, heavy rains are a double disaster. Tents provide little protection, and the land turns into a solution and puddles, which threatens the tents with collapse and luggage by drowning, and increasing the risk of disease.

Extreme cold: Temperatures drop significantly, and tents made of light materials cannot reserve warmth, putting adults and children at risk of pneumonia and cold diseases, especially with the scarcity of covers and winter clothes.

2. ️ Security and personal safety

Ongoing danger: The tents do not provide any protection from shelling or raids. Feeling insecure is a daily reality that is not absent.

Lack of privacy: Families are piled up in very narrow spaces, which kills any privacy and increases the psychological pressure on everyone, especially women and children.

3. ️ Deprivation of the basics of life

Water and sanitation: Access to clean water for drinking and bathing is almost impossible. Sewage systems are absent or inadequate at all, creating a fertile environment for the spread of infectious diseases (such as diarrhea and hepatitis).

Food and health care: Food is scarce and does not meet basic nutritional needs. Medical clinics are remote or not equipped, and access to essential medicines is not guaranteed.

Education and childhood: Children are deprived of education, play and security, and their childhood is stolen to face a harsh reality that exceeds their ability to endure."

thank you for your ongoing support. lately, jamal has been using funds for shelter, clothes, blankets, and food for his family and his neighbors too. every dollar is a morale boost. thank you.

hi beloveds. jamal was sick this week but was able to access medicine with help from our GFM/social community, and is starting to feel better. thank you from the bottom of our hearts. he is, however, newly suffering from painful burning in his eyes (which are very red), and always surrounded by utter misery, so please keep him close to your heart & in your prayers.

at one point in his update today, he asks, "Oh God, when will this nightmare end?" and i desperately wish for an answer...

full update from jamal on the lie that is the "ceasefire" & the burning of Gazan tents:

"The 'ceasefire' lie Dozens of martyrs had their tents burned by ISR IDF What was the fault of the young children who died? The war continues, unfortunately.

We have the right to live, especially with the insane price hikes, my friends. Don't forget us.

The killing and starvation continue, and the fires continue. The occupier is lying to the world. Comment, share, speak about us in whatever way suits you. We are sinking

"We were told 'a truce,' we were told 'a ceasefire,' and our weary souls clung to a fragile thread of hope. But hope in Gaza is still draped in the garb of illusory mourning: an official announcement, in sound and image, that the killing machine would stop, that the sky would cease raining death.

"The truth: the bombing did not stop, but rather transformed from overt to disguised. The planes did not leave our skies, but rather chose their targets with even greater precision to continue their campaign of extermination under the guise of 'calm.'

"The loss: the whine of rockets still pierces the false silence, and bodies are still being pulled from beneath the rubble that has not yet cooled. Every cry of "truce" is a new slap in the face of the victims who have not been buried in peace.

"A testimony from the land of pain: Gaza bleeds under the weight of the global lie. It was not a ceasefire, but a warrior's respite to gather breath and ammunition, while we count what remains of our loved ones.

"What kind of peace is this they announce while they see the blood still flowing? Do they not see the children sleeping hungry and waking to the sound of explosions? A global lie that participates in the killing and criminalizes In the name of humanity. Has the killing of innocents stopped? Have the displaced returned to their homes? Has enough bread and medicine for the wounded arrived? The resounding answer from beneath the rubble is: No.

"Oh God, when will this nightmare end? In Gaza, the dead are martyrs, and the living are weary. And the despair is greater than the rubble itself. Every international voice claiming to mediate is a silent partner in the continuation of the tragedy."

Hello again, Kati here. I hope this finds you safe and warm. I know things have been pretty rough lately between ICE, mass layoffs, record high grocery prices, the govt shutdown, etc (I speak as someone living in the US). As we are forced to stretch budgets & support our local communities, please don't forget our friends in Gaza. They may be farther away, but desperately need our love too.

An update from Jamal, who continues to not have enough, to shiver with cold, who horrifically lost a cousin and her 8 month old baby in an airstrike this week that made many new martyrs. There is no ceasefire. There isn't enough aid. Every dollar is a lifeline. Thank you and please take care ❤️

>From Jamal:

"A cry for help from under the weight of tents and the cold. We cannot wait. To every living heart and every generous hand.

"We are now living at the mercy of the sky in tents that offer no protection from the bitter winter cold or the pouring rain. Our suffering in the Gaza Strip today is beyond imagination, especially with the onset of winter.

"Our tents have become traps for the cold and damp. We are fighting the cold with a few blankets and worn-out clothes, and our children feel the sting of frost every moment. The lack of donations threatens our survival.

"Unfortunately, while the need is dire, we are witnessing a significant decrease in the amount of donations reaching us. It is true that there are efforts to bring in some aid (which does not meet the minimum of our enormous needs), but the funds needed to provide basic necessities such as heaters and fuel, winter clothes, and nutritious food are almost nonexistent.

"We appeal to you now, not tomorrow. Can you imagine your family living in a tent without heating on freezing nights? Can you imagine a child shivering with fear? And cold at the same time? Every dollar brings life and hope.

"We need your support to live with dignity, not just to survive. Every dollar, riyal, or dinar you donate is:

"Warmth for a small child. A meal to nourish a body weakened by hunger and cold. A blanket to protect them from the harshness of the sky. Help us face this winter before it takes away the rest of our loved ones. Don't let our suffering become "old news." #GazaUnderTheCold #SupportGaza #WinterInTents #SaveTheChildren"

Thank you ❤️

An urgent message from Jamal, who this morning let me know a bad storm hit Gaza and flooded tents across his camp.

"Gaza Faces a Bitter Winter: Can We Survive in Our Torn Tents?

"A final plea from the displacement tents... Before the cold swallows us whole, with every icy breeze that invades our fragile tents, and every drop of rain that seeps through their tattered roofs, our certainty grows that this winter will be anything but ordinary. We are hundreds of thousands of displaced families in the Gaza Strip, sleeping on the cold ground and covered with scraps of cloth that barely shield us from the darkness of night. Our children huddle together, afraid of the frost; they have no thick blankets, no shoes to protect their little feet from the mud and the bitter cold. The tents that have sheltered us for months are now worn out and unable to withstand the first storm.

"What does winter mean in tents? Drowning, not quenching: Rainwater threatens to flood our tents, turning displacement areas into swamps. Illness without medicine: The bitter cold exacerbates respiratory illnesses and pneumonia, and the severe shortage of medicine means a health catastrophe on top of other disasters.

"The open air, not shelter: A tattered tent is not shelter; it is merely an illusory barrier that offers no protection from the raging winds and the biting cold.

"We appeal to you... You are the last hope after God, to save thousands of children, women, and the elderly from the harsh fate that awaits them under the winter sky."

Hi sweet friends. I hope you're holding up okay. A message from Jamal, whose family home was bombed to complete collapse this week:

"A cry for help from under the rubble. My house collapsed... I just want a roof over my head. In an instant, years of life and memories vanished, and my home, which sheltered my family, was reduced to a pile of rubble and dust. We have nothing left.

"No walls to protect us from the cold, no door to close on us. What have we lost? We have lost everything: shelter, safety, and everything we own. A plea for urgent shelter and compensation.

"We appeal to compassionate hearts and donors to help us achieve the following: Partial compensation to find immediate shelter. Securing two or three months' rent to help us cope with the shock.

"Providing basic necessities. Purchasing blankets, clothes, and urgent food supplies. Supporting long-term reconstruction. Laying the foundation for the dream of returning to a real home.

"Now... I find nothing but a pile of cement mixed with the smell of fear. I search for my old toy, for a picture of my mother, for my brother's books, but all I find is the terrible silence that has swallowed life.

"Share our story; perhaps it will find a compassionate heart that will restore our hope and safety

"It wasn't a shell; it was the end of our little world. In a single moment, our home, built dream upon dream, was reduced to dust and smoke. It wasn't just walls; it was the family's sanctuary, the warmth of memories, and the laughter of children that once echoed in every corner.

"I appeal to humanity: Has our voice reached your hearts? We are not just numbers in news reports. We are wounded souls, lost in the open, and all that remains for us is indescribable pain and a homeland that refuses to surrender."

My heart is broken for Jamal and his family. He hasn't been able to live in his home because of the occupation, but there was hope of going back & rebuilding & retrieving memories someday. Now it's just gone. Please don't forget Jamal, his family, his home, and don't forget Palestine.

Hello! Kati here. Hope you are holding up and finding solidarity in each other during all this darkness. A very important update from Jamal, who, despite his family's forced displacement South, faces violence and death, during yet another false ceasefire. Thanks to everyone who is a lifeline to Jamal and his family. His update:

"Very important update

"Where is the ceasefire they keep talking about? Since dawn today, dozens of displaced families have been erased from the civil registry.

"Since last night, horrific massacres have been carried out by the army. ISR ,,, IDF The suffering was like a day of reckoning. Comment, share, talk about us in whatever way suits you. We need you very much. The bombing and killing haven't stopped. Where is the justice?

"Death is getting closer and closer to us It's only a matter of time. Don't give up on the cause.

"I'm doing everything I can to try and do something. I also want you to do everything in your power for us, to the fullest extent possible.

"Humanity is not just a word, but an action, a reality. Be with us.

"Trump's statements give Netanyahu the green light to bomb Ga4za. Where can we go from this insane bombardment?

"I repeat what I said: the ceasefire is just a lie to try and promote peace. News reports now indicate that the sector is likely to be invaded again soon on all fronts across the country.

"Don't be passive, do something for us.

"Every dollar counts. Damn IDF Which brought us to this point

"Not a single day goes by in Gaza without bombing, killing, or loss. No one can guarantee life; everyone in Gaza is at risk. Tons of explosives and shells leave no chance for life in Gaza, where people have recently been killed. Airstrikes fly over tents and families, and shrapnel kills everyone in its path, unfortunately. Israel violates the ceasefire, kills, and doesn't care. The genocide was renewed with ferocity "

Thank you for the support, thank you for learning and telling Jamal's story ❤️ Please be safe & keep keepin' each other safe.

Hi, it's Kati. Update directly from Jamal below. His birthday is actually 10/22, but he wrote this early because 1) the immediate financial need is dire & 2) making it a few days from present is never guaranteed in Gaza, and he wants to document this moment while he can.

Jamal also wants to make sure everyone knows the ceasefire is a lie, a trick. There's been more bombing. The IOF continues to lie and kill.

His message: "Today is my birthday. Today I have entered a new age and a new year I am 26 years old now☺️❣️. In this war, the features of my personality have changed. This is my second birthday in the war. I saw what no one else has seen. A description that is difficult to imagine. 26 years I saw torn bodies, bombed homes, repeated displacement, starving families being slaughtered, and a bitter, merciless cold. 26 years of painful exhaustion that is difficult to summarize in a brief line.

We need books and volumes to accurately describe the reality; even on my birthday, smoke rises from every house, and the world coldly records the news. Dozens of families have fallen dead, as if blood were a linguistic detail in a political sentence. Gaza is not a city, but a scream hanging in the air, heavy on the people, carrying the remnants of hope. They opened the windows as if someone inspecting life after a long exhaustion. Then the shells rained down again. Since dawn today, 30 souls flew to the sky because they believed in a promise made by a killer with the tongue of peace

Let me tell you, a truce is not a paper to be signed, but a child sleeping in peace. As long as the child does not sleep, all their evidence is invalid. They write the cessation of bombing in ink on paper, then after that they bomb and fall upon us with fire. So what kind of birthday am I living now?

Unfortunately, on my birthday, the houses have become symbols in memory, or rather walls of light, and the names of the doors no longer open but are searched in pictures. The home is a distant dream furnished in the imagination with hope, not bricks."

Please send special love and gifts to Jamal this week. He desperately needs joy. Make him cards and art! Host a fundraiser party in your community and eat cake together! And please please send extra if you can.

Also, for those in the US, there is another awesome raffle for him, here: https://givebutter.com/forfoodnotbombs - you can win 2 nights on a ranch in Washington, amongst many other goodies.

Thanks all. And happy early birthday to my "little brother" in Gaza.

Hi friends, it's Kati. I hope this finds you hangin' in there. Sorry for the delay in updates, and thank you for your patience.

Since last update, generous donations have enabled Jamal and his family to finally, in the last couple days, secure & erect tents and an outhouse, and access a small stock of food.

During this time, Jamal lost both an aunt from a stroke and, back North, a cousin in an airstrike. The violence comes in so many forms.

Jamal's family at his current campsite includes several older adults as well as a toddler niece. He has so much responsibility.

I am a part-time caretaker, and know the weight of that responsibility (only part-time, and it's still a lot)...and honestly, when I try to mentally grapple with the load on Jamal's shoulders, my brain sorta just short circuits. I cannot comprehend the energy it must take, the stress he must carry, and also, in the face of all this, the deep love and dedication he has for his family and people, fueling this resilience.

Jamal's family is beautiful, and he cares for them wonderfully, but with the genocide, they always look so tired and famished in photos he shares with me. Please, if have the means, ease him of the stress of carrying that load. Help him care for those he loves, and for his entire community after that. And sing his praises to your own loved ones and community.

Jamal's birthday is coming up on 10/22 (he'll be 26!), and I desperately want for him...the above. and peace, comfort, to be treated with dignity, for this ceasefire to be real, love from his family and friends around the world, and of course, a sweet treat.

If you have the budget for it, every dollar spent will go toward finishing his camp rebuild for his family, warm clothes and blankets for winter, and then resuming the efforts of Food, Not Bombs (now in the South).

Thank you thank you thank you. Please take care of yourselves & each other.

Hello friends. I hope you are hanging in there. As you may have seen on Instagram, Jamal, bolstered by your donations, was able to get his family-- including now both his grandparents and his aunt, in addition to his parents/immediate family-- to the southern Gaza Strip, and locate a space to set up camp.

Unfortunately, this space has a $350/month land rent. Jamal's tents up north were destroyed by the IOF, so he and his entire family, elderly grandparents included, sleep outside on the ground, with no shelter. They do not have medicine for a current bout of colic. They don't have any kind of sanitary bathroom or "running" water. They don't have blankets or warm clothes for the upcoming months. Never mind food and water.

Jamal did the impossible relocating everyone to "safety" but is left with nothing as far as basic survival needs go.

Please please help get his family resettled and resheltered, if you have the means. Help Jamal and family recover so he can meet his new neighbors and resume the deeply necessary mutual aid work he, and all of us, hold so dear.

The costs are, of course, astronomical. Tents alone (& it would take three of them to shelter his family) are $1000 apiece and that's before the 40% "tax" Jamal faces when exchanging digital money for cash and goods. You can donate via GFM here as always, or view a breakdown of more needs + "sponsor" one here: https://jamalfromgaza.betterworld.org/campaigns/shelter-jamal-gaza

Jamal thanks you all from the bottom of his heart for your support in getting him safely South. Now let's help him get back on his feet ❤️ Thank you.

Kati here. Things are not good. I just heard from Jamal for the first time in a few days. Thankfully he is okay, though justifiably terrified. Through this GFM campaign, Jamal has helped others survive, including paying for several other families' evacuations South. But now he and his own family need to leave, and transport costs have skyrocketed; there isn't money left to get them safely South. They need money to get to safety, fast.

This is an urgent call...trying to raise as much as possible, TODAY, to save his family and get them out of North Gaza.

In Jamal's words: "Hello my friends, the reason for my absence is the internet outage in northern Gaza, and I also cannot open the internet permanently because of the random and terrifying bombing. I recorded audio recordings, and while the robots were bombing, they were destroying the entire squares of Sakina.

<>

"Unfortunately, it is still stuck in northern Gaza due to the crazy rise in prices. We have collected donations, but until this moment, the full amount has not been collected. There is not much time. The occupation army is always threatening us to go south, and because of the high prices, and also the overpopulation and the great scarcity of transportation, every dollar is welcome and respected. Please save us from northern Gaza and from death."

Can you help my friend? We are desperate. Thank you.

Hi yall. Another update from Jamal below. With your support, he has not only been able to provide food to this community, but pay two more families' evacuations south as the IOF pushes people out of the north. Please keep Jamal & his family, and all the people of Gaza, in your prayers.

"We continue this charitable and humanitarian work from the Mutual Aid Project. Food, not bombs, despite the bombing, displacement, and genocide, in order to survive.

"Today, we distributed flour for the sixth time in a row to displaced families in order to strengthen the steadfastness of the citizens here.

"It is your duty to all appreciate and support our efforts, and you must also raise our voices to the world as we suffer from injustice.

"Today, we also carried out a new evacuation for two families. Thanks to your contributions, we paid the costs of evacuation to the southern regions, knowing, as I told you, that the transportation cost is very high. One family went to the Deir al-Balah region, and another family went to the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis.✊

"Your continued support is important and humanitarian, and saves innocent lives.

"The occupation still threatens the northern region with being a military zone.

"We must head south. The bombing has not stopped yet. The southern region is densely populated and lacks the most basic necessities of life

"Displacement is migration within migration, a wound within a wound, death stalking death. Comment, share, talk about us in the way that best suits you. For those who might be interested in contributing with us, you are the only hope. Keep us in your thoughts.

"Just a reminder, raffles and lotteries are the best way to raise contributions for a worthy cause. If you can't do that, you can use my campaign link and donate directly to us

"Despite everything that's happening to us, we plan to do more in the coming days, including initiatives in the north of the country. Stay tuned, my friends.✊

"Please stay with us before it's too late. Your support is the difference between life and death.

"Don't stop praying for us."

Hello friends, Kati here. This update is from a few days ago, apologies for the delay. Things are very scary for Jamal and his family right now. The bombing nearby is very bad as the IOF makes clear their extermination goals clear for North Gaza. Jamal has been taking solo journeys South to scout sites for his family's relocation, but everything is crowded. He is so tired. Please keep him and his family in your prayers. This is the scariest it's been since we've become friends. Continued donations will go toward the usual food & life-sustaining necessities for his community, but may also go toward relocation costs for his family and neighbors, if they find somewhere to go. Thank you all.

Jamal's update:

"Flour distribution for the fifth consecutive time to displaced families in the camp where I live.✊

"Mutual aid: food, not bombs. It's collective care. There are many people, including my family, who need help. Many families are asking for support...️

"The oppressor IOF is a headless monster that tramples and destroys everything in its path. It hasn't had enough of blood or tortured souls yet.

"The occupier IOF doesn't care about international law or humanitarian law. It only cares about how to occupy and kill innocent citizens.

"Trump, who promised he doesn't want wars, is opening the door to wars from multiple outlets.☠️

"Palestine exists, so it resists.✌️

"Mutual aid: food, not bombs. It's an essential lifeline for us. Be with us constantly for continuous support so that we stay alive and create new hope and strengthen our steadfastness.

"We plan to do more in the coming days. Stay tuned, my friends. Your support is the difference between life and death. Every dollar you spend makes a difference. Wait for us, my friends. Your support is the difference between life and death. Every dollar you spend makes a difference.

"Finally, we ask for your participation and support. Keep us in your thoughts❤️"

Thank you ❤️

Hi all! Kati here. Between GFM and another distribution from the GiveButter r@ffle, Jamal had enough funding to launch his fourth consecutive flour distribution as part of the campaign he's calling "Let's Fight Famine." It is very hot in Gaza now, and he is suffering a painful heat rash as a result of his efforts. The day after flour distribution, he was advised to find a fan & spend some time cooling down, which seems to be helping. Please keep Jamal in your thoughts. Every time you enjoy some air conditioning, an icy beverage, etc., please hold space for your friends in Gaza who have been stripped of these comforts that they so deserve. All my love y'all's way ❤️

>From Jamal:

"We were planning this event to distribute ready-to-eat food and canned goods, but the families asked me to repeat the flour distribution for the fourth time. I did so without hesitation due to their need. This is because it is an essential factor and a lifeline that they can no longer do without.️"

<>

"Today, we distributed flour to dozens of displaced families in northern Gaza in the camp where I live in the Tal al-Hawa area, west of Gaza✊. The occupier, the IOF, does not want to end the war; it wants more killing, starvation, displacement, and unlimited occupation of the country.

"Our mutual aid efforts, "Food, Not Bombs," reach empty stomachs that do not hesitate to save innocent lives that have the right to live, even with the most basic necessities of life. You fill hungry bellies with every dollar you send here.

"This relief effort will continue under the current circumstances we are experiencing of killing, bombing, and displacement✌️✌️. We are a vital lifeline for my people.

"You have supported the Food Not Bombs organization's initiative to restore hope in the north of the country. We plan to do more initiatives and activities in the coming days for a worthy cause✊. Thank you for being with us. Your support and contributions are voluntary and deeply appreciated "

Power to the Palestinian people, and oppressed people everywhere.

All our love, Jamal & Kati

Kati here. I hope you are all holding up okay. Another terrifying week as the starvation intensifies. Thank you for continuing to be in community with Jamal, his family, and the Palestinian people.

Please be loud! Please think about what you might be able to do (fundraiser ideas...bake sale? raffle? talent show? bingo night? cake walk? fun fair? skeeball competition? auction off an art piece or class on something you love?). If you come up with a concept, I can help with the money/Jamal end of things.

Finally, please keep Jamal's mom in your thoughts. She is suffering physical illness related to her malnutrition. There is no healthy food in Gaza.

>From Jamal:

"This is briefly what I experienced this week. The suffering is still ongoing until this moment.

"This week we witnessed a great famine beyond description and logic. Israel uses starvation as a war policy and a second weapon, but we tell you that I will continue as I am until the last moment of my life.

"The amount that was sent to me last time was $1013. In order for me to be able to withdraw it in cash, 43% was deducted, meaning we lost $435. So I can get $577. I helped my family of 7 and I am the 8th. Also, because of the donations, I helped a second family of 7 people, as I told you before. But this means that only 14 people benefited from the $577 amount due to the insanely high prices.

"Every morning I see martyrs and people running in the streets, all of them oppressed. We want to spread this injustice to the whole world.

"We come to you, my dear friends. We depend on you basically to stay alive. Your support is what makes a big difference to us. We want to amplify the speakers to try to overcome this hunger and try to slow down the pain.

"I hope that soon, we can find more contributions like raffles, prizes or a way that suits the artists. If anyone is able to host a fundraiser or raffle but is not sure how to do it, they can contact you [me - Kati - GFM admin] personally via private message [@gemmycharmedlife on IG] or email [gemmycharmedlife@gmail.com]."

Thank you all.

Hello friends! It's Kati. Thank you so much for all who have followed Jamal's new Instagram account (@jamal_fromgaza, no longer valid) & continued to share, and for everyone who continues to send $, especially with budgets tightening up so much here in the US.

On Thursday, Jamal received a disbursement of $2436.30 and immediately got to work securing and distributing food to his community. Unfortunately, because Jamal has to secure the funds via individual brokers due to the lack of banks, each sum we send sees a whopping 43% fee skimmed off the top :(

With his remaining funds though, Jamal was able to buy two large bags of flour-- 50 kilos worth-- to be shared amongst 35 families, many of whom haven't tasted bread since the blockade began. Knowing what is happening in the south at the truly abhorrent "aid" (murder) centers, where flour bags have been found to be laced with addictive opioids, Jamal was careful to examine bags before distributing. Read more about his efforts in his own words:

"Today was very happy.❤️

A new update and a new achievement added to the organization and project

Food, Not Bombs

We were finally able to secure two bags of flour, each weighing 25 kilos, meaning 50 kilos, brought from the Rashid Street corridor in the west of the country. ❤️

It is to be divided and distributed to more than 35 families here in the north of the country, trying to give them hope.

Many have not tasted bread since the siege and starvation went into effect months ago, and the joy when we surprised them with this event was indescribable.❤️❤️

You saw our despair and hunger from afar, and the escalation of the horrific daily massacres in the occupation and at the American aid distribution sites.

These things have not changed for the majority of Gaza's citizens...

But today, thanks to your amazing influx of new donations, we were able to save many displaced families in the north of the country.

Joy has become rare for most here, but these moments of hope are indescribable.

The support keeps us strong.

Our gratitude is endless

Let's continue, my friends. Wait for us to do more development projects in the coming days. Help us do this with goodness

A small note. We have noticed in the recent period that teams of artists have offered a lot of support for us. If you are an artist who can offer a drawing or similar, please do not hesitate to do so, because that saves innocent souls that save them from death, thanks

Your support for us, no matter how, is a difference in my life "

Hi all! Kati here. Thank you so much to those of you who have reached out worried about Jamal's disappearance from Instagram. Please see my post below, copy/pasted from my own IG account. I let Jamal know a number of you asked after him, and he was very moved. Please amplify his new page however possible! And remember, even $1 donation helps. I love you all with all my heart.

From my own Insta:

"hello dear friends of jamal & of gemmy! kati (@gemmycharmedlife) here, writing to let you know that meta shut down jamal's instagram (probably to suppress his documentation of the genocide). jamal is now forced to start from scratch with a new page (@jamal_fromgaza) & the lack of content/history/followers makes it more difficult to build trust with potential donors. can you please follow + share to help him rebuild?

he uses this platform for the good of his community as a part of his "food not bombs" (north gaza) mutual aid efforts, some of which you can see in the photos here. please please help him build back up his platform's appearance of legitimacy so he can return to his life-saving work.

it is not lost on me that not only do these murderous empires displace the people of palestine on their own land, but digitally too. i cannot imagine having to bear the weight of constant displacement coming from every direction.

jamal, we are here for you as you rebuild (yet again). we see you. in the short time jamal's page was gone, i got so many messsages asking after his safety. you are loved and cared for deeply, friend.

please send encouraging messages in the comments! and share share share. thank you all so much!"

Hi all,

A new update from Jamal for you re: your donations, which we remain endlessly grateful for. This is truly the only lifeline for Jamal, his family, and his neighbors. Thank you. In my beautiful friend's words:

"We have distributed cash to 29 families for the second time in a row

This is thanks to your generous donations to the Food Not Bombs organization. We will continue this giving, as I promised you, until the last moment of my life

But the need is still urgent and greatly needed. Your support is what makes the difference. Thank you to everyone who contributed with us in trying to alleviate our suffering

The Israeli occupation is still present, and therefore the conflict is still present, imposing its control over us through killing, bombing, and starvation. Up until this moment, the crossings are closed, but we tell you that we will continue with the Food Not Bombs organization project with all our strength to provide urgent relief to our large and national community

Thank you, friends, for your great trust in us. We repeat what we say only for the sake of reminders. Every time we receive money from donations, we lose 30% to 35% in order to obtain cash due to the lack of banks at the present time. We deal with people, not banks. This means that your contribution and cooperation are important, no matter how important, and they help in creating humanity

Hunger piracy exists in the midst of rampant injustice.

There is nothing beyond life but life. And there is nothing beyond reality but reality

The landmarks of peace have disintegrated. Israel has no values, but has disintegrated.
They do not have the values of humanity, but they are a symbol of falsehood and injustice.

Comment, share, talk about us through promotion in order to strengthen our existence.

Your support and cooperation will not only help us secure life and essential basic needs, but it will also make our belief in the mercy of humanity happy ✌️

This is the people's voice, and the story has a lesson.

Your support means a lot to me, to us, and to humanity in general. Your donation will not be wasted, but it will save innocent lives. May God bless you "

Hello friends, Kati here. I hope you are hanging in there. This past week was frightening with the internet outages in Gaza, plus all the awful massacres happening at the fake "aid distribution" centers and elsewhere in Gaza. I was so relieved to hear from Jamal when the internet was finally available, but heartbroken to learn he lost family in a recent bombing. He continues to witness horrifying violence and starvation in his day-to-day.

Once the internet was somewhat reliable again, I was finally able to transfer this most recent batch of GFM & artist r*ffl* entry $ his way, nearly $3000 (before fees-- sadly about 30% goes to a broker), which he distributed in cash to his neighbors. Even in the face of everything, he keeps pressing forward and caring for his people. Never fails to astound me. I am privileged to call him friend.

Here is the latest in Jamal's own words:

Thanks to your donations, my friends, we were able to distribute cash to dozens of displaced families from the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in the Tal al-Hawa area in northern Gaza.

But the need is still urgent and greatly needed. Your support is what makes the difference. Thank you to everyone who helped us in trying to alleviate our suffering.

The Israeli occupation is still
present, and therefore the conflict is still present, imposing its control over us through killing, bombing, and starvation. Up until this moment, the crossings are closed, but we tell you that we will continue with the Food Not Bombs project with all our strength to provide relief, urgent relief to our large and national community. so Thank you, my friends, for your great trust in us.

We repeat what we say only for the sake of reminders. Every time we receive money from donations, we lose 30% to 35% in order to obtain cash due to the lack of banks at the present time. We are dealing with people, not banks. This means that your contribution and cooperation are important, no matter how important, and they help in creating humanity.

Every moment I am exposed to being killed, but I will continue in what I am until the last moment of my life & Showers of hope for our people must exist thanks to your cooperation with us.

We have noticed from some artists and friends that their raffles or lotteries are a very successful way to collect donations for us at the local Food and Not Bombs organization, as happened today with the cash distribution initiative. Now we ask you, and I humbly encourage you, whoever loves and is able to hold your own raffle in support of a just cause suffering from hunger and poverty, and wants to have a positive impact on it. Do not hesitate to do so, as this will help us intensify our inspiring efforts on the ground in northern Gaza.
Anyone who can collect donations
in their preferred way is welcome. Your support and cooperation will not only help us secure basic needs, but will also strengthen our belief in the mercy of humanity.

We plan to do more, stay tuned, friends.

Thank you all.

What should be a time of warmth and family in Gaza, the Eid holiday, is no more.

Per Jamal: "Now there is a holiday in Gaza, but there is nothing but sadness, pain, killing, and bombing. Unfortunately, before the war, these were the most beautiful days, but unfortunately..."

I encourage you to honor Eid by doing what you can to make it more survivable for the people of Gaza, whether via GFM donation, working with friends to setup a r^ffle or $ collection, printing out a poster about Jamal to hang at work with a QR code to send funds, etc.

Just this morning from Jamal:

"Exactly three hours ago, a residential area near the camp where I live was bombed, resulting in the deaths of 30 people and 50 injuries. Oh God, the sound was insanely terrifying. The bombing was in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, very close to us. Every family fell to the ground from the intensity of the bombing. We miraculously escaped death."

I will spare you the recording and photo and gruesome detail. It is ghastly. Please do whatever is within your power to end this holocaust. Donate, hunger strike, support the Freedom Flotilla Madleen, never stop talking about Palestine, get in the way of weapons suppliers, do whatever you can...

Hello beloved humans on the right side of history. Kati here. New update from Jamal below. Please keep him in your thoughts. He is doing this vital humanitarian work made possible by your donations while living in extreme danger, and while being ill, sleeping in a cold tent with his family (or trying to sleep...drone/bomb noise makes it very hard), and having lost 5 relatives this week, 4 of them children. Every day I wake up & see he's still with us I breathe a huge sigh of relief. Please keep donating, sharing, and talking about Palestine. Now from Jamal:

"Thank you, Chicago State, for your generous support✌️. Basic food supplies were distributed as required by our situation. We have a Food, Not Bombs project. We repeated the same initiative by distributing fresh rice to 62 displaced families. Despite the killing, bombing, and genocide, we succeeded in doing so. Our mission is to serve displaced families with urgent relief. This charitable work can only continue through your continued donations. The crossings are still closed, and the war has not stopped yet. We are united for Gaza. We want to continue our humanitarian compassion to have a real impact through your national contributions to us in order to save innocent lives. We have the right to live in peace. Everyone can provide assistance. How can you help in the way that suits you? Note: We were unable to film the event due to a security incident in northern Gaza and the dangerous situation in the area, with bombing and martyrs. It was very difficult to film the initiative and the great efforts we are making deserve appreciation

"Note: We have noticed from some friends and artists that their raffles and lotteries are the best way to collect donations for us and for the food project, not bombs. As Jamal, I prefer this option and I ask all friends and artists who can do this for a just cause and a national project, do not hesitate to do so. If you cannot, comment. Participate with small and large companies. Talk about us in the way you wish, and with those who might be interested with us to feed a hungry child. Remember, before you contribute with us, that we have the right to live like you, so do not abandon us and always stay by our side, my friends. You are our only hope, and we trust in your humanity. "

Thank you all. If you'd like to run your own raffle etc, I'm happy to help ensure funds get to Jamal! Get in touch at [email redacted].

Just in from Jamal!

"In light of the widespread famine and the significant rise in prices, we were able to launch a new initiative to try to spread hope and alleviate the suffering of our besieged people.

"The FOOD NOT BOMBS project and organization is the main artery of relief for dozens of displaced families. Today, we were able to distribute 30 meals to our struggling community.

"We hope to expand this project on a wide scale by sharing, commenting, publishing, promoting, and speaking out anywhere, whether at celebrations or protests or through local, small, and large shops and companies. This will help

"We need new donors and contributors to strengthen our presence and intensify our work in the field to alleviate our suffering. If you have enough time to set up your own lottery (drawing), help start everything for us. I hope to see more tattoo artists and FOOD NOT BOMBS artists share this with our project and organization. This will help us and strengthen our resilience for dozens, even hundreds of people who benefit from it.

"You are the main artery, the hope we cling to. Please stay by our side in this difficult time and do not abandon us. Every dollar you give makes a difference. Remember before you contribute that you are saving innocent lives. We have the right to live in peace. Like you, prove your humanity with this. Thank you"

PS from Kati: if you are coordinating a raffle, etc., you can direct funds here to GoFundMe or work with me to send $ direct to Jamal via me- we have figured out a good system for crypto transfer in USDT that has lower fees than wires, etc. Please don't hesitate to reach out to [email redacted] if interested.

Hello, beloved donors. Kati here. Whether you made it to this page via one of the ongoing tattoo raffles (thank you to all FOUR- !!- of the beautiful Chicago tattoo artists running raffles right now) or via other means, Jamal and I are so grateful. I was able to send him a solid sum a few days ago, and will be able to send more this week. Money transfer fees and food costs remain wildly high, and your efforts are keeping Jamal, his family, and his community going in the face of escalating violence and famine. You give us hope during a very upsetting week.

Jamal's latest message to you, sent just this morning (& new photos of his community food distribution efforts attached):

"We continue our charitable and humanitarian work on the ground at a time when famine is rampant in our bodies.

These young children are all suffering from starvation and their stomachs are empty.

The Israeli occupation is trying in every way to cut off our food supplies, but despite the significant increase in food prices, we say we will not and have not given up. We will do everything in our power to bring hope to our besieged people.

Comment, share, and talk about us anywhere possible. Those who might be interested in contributing with us might be interested in contributing with us.

Prove your presence with us in the way that suits you.

Everyone has something to offer. How can you contribute to us? Your standing with us makes a difference, so don't leave us alone.

Make sure to like, share, and comment to promote our presence."

Free Palestine. Sing it from the rooftops. Continue to get involved in stopping this genocide in whatever way your unique gifts allow. Thank you with all our hearts.

Hello beloved donors,

Kati here. Jamal's kindness and commitment to his community, even when ill and living in a tent with his entire family, continue to awe me. Between a raffle we ran on Instagram + recent donations here, Jamal was able to raise funds to distribute food to FIFTY families in the midst of this terrible famine and genocide. This is money he could've kept to himself, but that isn't Jamal; Jamal's support the whole of the Palestinian people over his own individual comfort is something we should all aspire to. Please find his words below, and some photos attached. We are forever grateful for those who continue to support Jamal and Palestine's goodness in the face of this global evil.

"As I promised you, friends, despite the great famine we are experiencing and the crazy rise in prices, we have succeeded in securing some food supplies thanks to the loyal individuals and artists who donated to us from their own money. 50 food supplies of fresh rice were provided and distributed to displaced families. Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to do this through the project, called "FOOD NOT BOMBS" (note from Kati - Jamal loved the name of the US org Food Not Bombs when I shared with him, and wanted to name his initiative after them-- we encourage you to check out your local Food Not Bombs chapter! )

"We were planning to distribute vegetables, but we were unable to do so due to the great scarcity in their availability. In order for this charitable work to continue, do not hesitate to contribute and support us. Every dollar is appreciated and respected. We also need new donors and contributors to intensify our charitable work on the ground.

"Comment, share this video, and share our interest and the great effort we are doing. Talk to your friends, individuals, family, and small and large companies. They may be interested in contributing. Remember, before you donate to us, you are saving innocent lives. Your support and humanity are the difference between life and death. We have many events planned for the coming days. You are the only thing keeping us alive now. Inspire us with your humanity"

Thank you with all of our hearts.

This third verbatim block does not match any of the GoFundMe update bodies we recovered. It's almost certainly from an update somewhere in the gap. Placed here speculatively in the timeline.

"We cannot buy this (food and basic supplies) for the displaced and needy people in the tents except through your help, support, and funding.
"There is now an ongoing famine, and the Israeli occupation is deliberately imposing hunger and famine on us. This is a new policy of psychological warfare, and this is the reason for the indescribably high prices due to the great scarcity in providing it.
"No free aid enters the displaced through the Rafah or Kerem Shalom crossings. Rather, its [supply is] greatly cut off due to the closure of the crossing, the imposition of siege restrictions, and also the barbaric war. Families are in great need of humanitarian aid."

Hello dear friends,

Kati here. My conversations with Jamal this week have been less frequent due to a forced evacuation in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood (where many had only just returned to, and many already live in ruins).

I knew about the evacuation and anticipated a forced gap in communications with Jamal, but I've frankly been pretty scared awaiting his response & collection of GFM funds I wired to Bank of Palestine. I woke up every day praying to see a hello from him. I breathed a huge sigh of relief when I finally heard from Jamal this morning, but my heart breaks as he continues to fight for survival in the hell on earth that "Israel" & the US create, day after day. Here's what he wants to share with y'all today:

"Now there is an evacuation in new areas in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, including the Al-Sha'af, Al-Sahaba, and Al-Tuffah neighborhoods, and other dangerous areas.

One of the families asked me to evacuate them from the Shuja'iyya neighborhood to the Al-Nuseirat area in the southern Gaza Strip, and to find a place to shelter them. I did so without hesitation and offered them a helping hand in light of the significant increase in prices. All transportation costs were paid, along with a place for them.

There are cases that I cannot document due to the poor conditions we are experiencing, including bombing, destruction, and insane killing. Your continued support inspires us to double our efforts on the ground. Thank you.

X

"

Even with his own large family to support, Jamal continues to share what you all provide, with others. He sets a beautiful example for us all, especially as recession looms here in the West. Thank you for your continued support, humanity, and belief in Palestinian freedom. You are keeping Jamal and his people alive with these donations, shares, and outspokenness about Palestine, no two ways about it.

All my love, and with love from Jamal too,
Kati

Hello beautiful donors,

I hope this finds you well. I received this message from Jamal this morning:

"Heavy shelling in the Shujaiya neighborhood. The army issued evacuation orders for the entire Shujaiya neighborhood. The shelling has not stopped, and there are hundreds of martyrs and wounded tonight due to the barbaric shelling. We ask you to pray for us continuously.

I humbly ask you to donate so that we can go to the southern Gaza Strip. The transportation costs are high.

Everyone who asks me where you and your family are now, I am at the Jabalia bus station, temporarily staying with a family close to the danger zone in the Shujaiya neighborhood.

The reason for this is that I cannot bear these costs. Up until this moment, I am suspended, and I have not left the northern Gaza Strip. Thank you"

I am particularly terrified for Jamal and his family's safety right now. He's sent me audio recordings from the wee hours of the night, and the shelling is horrifying, near, and constant. There is no sleeping soundly in Gaza.

Thank you for your ongoing care and concern. I will keep you updated when I learn more. Please continue to share and donate and carry Jamal and the Palestinian people in your hearts and words.

With gratitude,
Kati

Hello! Kati here. I have a message for you direct from Jamal today. It reads:

"Despite the suffering we are going through, today is the blessed Eid al-Fitr. I am trying to find roots of hope in this difficult time. My friends, where are the congratulations and greetings on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr? I love you all, my friends, from the bottom of my heart, and from our besieged and devastated people."

If you send holiday greetings, I will be sure
to pass them on. Each donation continues to help sustain Jamal, his family, and his community secure increasingly expensive living necessities as the war and blockade continue. You are so treasured and appreciated.

Hello friends. Thank you so much for your generous contributions and care. They have gone not only to Jamal's family directly in the form of basic necessities, but Jamal continues to spread the little he has to his community. See photos of his bread distribution efforts attached!

Things continue to be incomprehensibley difficult in Gaza. With the ceasefire over, Jamal and his family have been forced to evacuate by the IOF mere days after finally returning to their destroyed home. Now, they are displaced again. They have not found anywhere to go, because most others are displaced, too. They continue to look for space to settle in the Al-Daraj neighborhood is located in the west of Gaza, but resources are scarce.

My friend Jamal gives and does everything he can. He constantly strives to leave a good impact after his death. He helps as much as he can. This depends on you greatly through support, assistance, participation, and speaking about us wherever you are, whether in protests, conferences, seminars, or lectures. Jamal asks, "Do not forget us, even if it is with a small word."

We repeat what we always say with all humility: Donate to Jamal, his family and his community so they can try to survive. Talk about Jamal and his family, so the world does not forget.

You are the reason they continue to survive, and this serves the Palestinian cause.

This is the prime time for you to show your humanity in support of Jamal and his large and inspiring family.

When we talk about the people of Gaza, we are talking about the suffering, the ongoing displacement, the hunger, and the ongoing killing, which has not stopped yet. Rather, there is now an unprecedented famine in the history of Palestine.

Don't abandon us, no matter what happens, my friends. Anything helps.

Hi all. Kati here again. Thank you so much for your generous donations, and for following along.

Now that the war has returned, Jamal and his family of 8 are suffering greatly due to displacement and famine. They are in the month of Ramadan and there is a huge increase in prices; they cannot afford even the most basic necessities. We want to provide them with the simplest necessities of life. Any donation you make will help, even if it is small, and save them from literal death. With the border crossings still closed, they are in dire need of us more than ever. We want to do everything we can to help them, even if it is with something simple. Do not forget that they deserve to live in peace like any family in the world. You are our only hope, my friends.

Please continue to contribute what you can, and to share Jamal's story. Free Palestine!

Jamal's family continues to suffer every day to access the simplest of life's necessities. Many internationally aren't aware the Rafah border crossing closed again at the beginning of Ramadan, which has led to an astronomical increase in prices.

However, Jamal does not forget his people and his beloved country, but rather does everything in his power to help his family and community.

In this blessed month of Ramadan, in spite of his own suffering, Jamal distributed fresh bread to 20 hungry families. Please see his video/photos! His heart and care for his community is a powerful thing to watch.

I implore you to help in any capacity if you're able. Your continued support is the only way to continue this charitable work and provide for Jamal's family's needs as well. ❤️

Comment, share and support our account. Talk about us everywhere, and do not hesitate to spread the message of what is happening in Palestine. You are the only alternative. Please do not forget your siblings across the sea. Thank you and bless you for all you do.

All our love.

"The Food Not Bombs project and organization is a national and humanitarian project that serves dozens, even hundreds, of displaced families, and provides shelter for poor families. From the beginning, this project has contributed to helping many families and displaced persons who are in camps in my area: Shuja'iyya, Daraj, Rimal, Jabalia, and Tal al-Hawa… My work team and I are constantly carrying out various work, including distributing basic foodstuffs according to what is available in the markets to struggling families and children."

Rachel adds: "on Feb. 23, Jamal's team worked with local farmers and traders to provide more than 60 families with large packages containing 15 kg of fruits and vegetables — enough for each family to last 5 days."
